Service Awards
Basic Service Award.
Description: This award will be received if the officer has been a member of the PD for over 2 months.
Veteran Service Award.
Description: This award will be received if the officer has been a member of the PD for over 4 months.
Advanced Service Award.
Description: This award will be received if the officer has been a member of the PD for over 6 months.
SUB-DEPARTMENT & GROUP AWARDS
Ride-Alongs.
Description: This award will be recieved if the officer passes the test to give the public ride-alongs.
Retired with honours.
Description: This award will be recieved if an officer retires (retire means leave the server) and they have paid a great service to the public.
Award of Valor.
Description: This award is given to officers who perform exceptionally well while in danger in the line of duty or doing a heroic action. This award is extremely hard to obtain.
Award of dedication.
Description: This award is given to officers that are regularly on duty and try their very best all the time and give the job 100%.
Distinguished Service Award.
Description: This award is given to lead officers who have demonstrated a professional attitude and have showed leadership on a daily basis while in the line of duty.
Driving Award.
Description: This award is given to officers who demonstrate great driving skills.
Expert Driver Award.
Description: This award is given to officers who show that they know how to handle a vehicle and demonstrate exceptional driving skills during pursuits and any other vehicular activity.

Description: Pass the ASU training grade 1

Description: Pass the ASU training grade 2
Chief's Personal Award.
Description: This award is given by the chief only, this is an award that is given to the very few who are extremely determined and go incredibly high over expectation. This award is the most difficult award to obtain.
